I'm Marialana Kinter, Navy veteran, former nuclear reactor supervisor, and congressional candidate in FL-07.
My campaign is built on the idea that our politicians and candidates should be working for us. Since I launched my campaign last June with a food drive, serving our communities has been my goal.
This is our second clothing drive - our first delivered clothes from over 70 donors to our community, completely free of charge.
If you have gently used clothing or luggage taking up space in your closets, let us take it off your hands. We will come pick it up right from your porch! All donations will be distributed completely free of charge to those in need across Central Florida.
Where do your donations go?
-
ESTHER's: Empowering single mothers and their children.
-
State of Hope: Providing essential support to homeless veterans in our community.
-
Frog Ministry: Stocking an amazing Edgewater-based free store that provides everyday items directly to community members in need.
-
Local Foster Youth: We are specifically collecting used luggage, duffel bags, and backpacks for children and teens in the foster care system. Sadly, it is customary for these kids to move their personal belongings in trash bags. We want to help change that!
Important Prep Instructions:
-
Clean Clothes Only: Please ensure all clothing is clean before donating (no need to fold them, just clean!).
-
Pre-Sort Your Items: To help our volunteer team, we kindly ask that you sort the clothes into different categories (e.g., Women's, Men's, Children's) in separate bags, or pack the sorted items directly into the luggage you are donating.
How it works:
-
Fill out the form below to get on our pick-up list.
-
Bag or box up your sorted items (or put in luggage you are donating)
-
Our volunteer team will begin neighborhood pick-ups starting March 15th. A volunteer will call you to schedule your exact pick-up window!
